Supplier statements and expected bills
Supplier statements
Section titled “Supplier statements”Suppliers’ statements of account show what they think you owe. Supplier statements reads each one, from a CSV or straight from the PDF they email, and lines it up against your bills and payments.
Each statement lists what does not line up:
- Bills never received: on the statement, not in Spend. Ask for a copy.
- Amounts that differ between the statement and the bill.
- Payments not applied by the supplier.
- Credits not taken that you are owed.
Open a case from any line to ask the supplier; the conversation stays with the statement.
Expected bills
Section titled “Expected bills”Utility, lease and service bills arrive every month. Expected bills learns each schedule by supplier and site and shows when the next bill is due and its usual amount.
A bill is flagged when it is late, or far off its usual amount. A late bill may mean a lost invoice and a late fee; an inflated one may be a meter error or a billing mistake worth a call.
